I’d like to congratulate you on your excellent job on the documentary ‘Afrobeats: The Back Story.’ I had been looking forward to viewing it and finally did. I am really pleased with what I witnessed and congratulate your tremendous work in making this well-thought-out addition to our creative industry debates throughout the world. I am really proud of you and want to thank you for it. God bless you. ‘Afrobeats: The Back Story ‘ is a documentary that chronicles the growth and rise of Afrobeats from 1999 to the present. Ayo Shonaiya and numerous famous persons included in the documentary told important anecdotes about the roles different parties and stakeholders played.

Since its premiere on Netflix on June 29th, 2022, the documentary has had a great response, with the majority of the audience realizing that it is an educational resource designed to enlighten customers both locally and worldwide about an important element of Afrobeats’ historic journey.
