Police To Sanction BNXN (Buju) For Assaulting Officer

Ben Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, has announced that musician Daniel Benson, professionally known as BNXN, will face punishment for attacking a police officer.

A video circulating on social media showed the artist arguing with officers of the Nigerian Police Force. BNXN, formerly known as Buju, disclosed in now-deleted tweets that he had been in a fight with the cops, which resulted in his spitting on an officer.

“I slapped a cop in the face and it felt great.” I let you inside my car, and you dragged and ripped my clothes before slapping me? “(Sic) Nah, everyone needs to quit!” he stated in the removed post. In response to the event, Hundeyin stated on Twitter that if the police officers are proved to be guilty of wrongdoing, they will be punished.

Sharing screenshots of the artist’s tweet, he also stated that the singer will “certainly” face charges for attacking a police officer. ” BNXN proudly stated that he’spat in the face of a police officer and it felt so nice.’ He later deleted the message. “If established, the police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior, while #BNXN will undoubtedly account for his assault on a police officer,” Hundeyin tweeted.
