Prince Harry says the Queen will be sorely missed.

Prince Harry of Sussex has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, his late grandmother.

In a statement, the Duke of Sussex recalled all the memorable experiences he shared with the late Queen.

“In commemorating my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen — and in mourning her loss,” he added, “we are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty.”

“Granny, while we are saddened by our final parting, I will be eternally grateful for all of our first meetings—from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my commander-in-chief, to the first time you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.”

“I treasure these days spent with you, as well as the many other great moments in between.” “You are already missed.”

It is well known that Prince Harry and his grandmother had a close bond.

When Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their second child in 2021, they called her Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor after the late queen.

It should be noted that in January 2020, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, startled the world by announcing their intention to step down as senior members of the royal family.

In 2020, the pair revealed the stunning news on their own Instagram page.

They would be standing down and heading to North America, according to them.
