Yoruba activist Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has reacted to the recent attack by Gunmen on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday.

Gunmen dressed in military uniforms reportedly attacked commuters traveling on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday.

The gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed the road from the bush before the Sagamu Interchange en route to Lagos and started shooting at motorists in the 18-passenger inter-state bus.

Reacting to this, Sunday Ighoho who always bemoaned the killings and high level of insecurity in the country, says that, only if we can be in unity, he strongly believes in the Yoruba nation.

In his word, he wrote:

I’ve not had a proper sleep since I heard the news of what happened on Lagos- Ibadan expressway.

It’s not like I’ve not heard about the occurrences that happened at the same place in the past but this time around,I fear for my people.

This is one of the reasons we want Yoruba Nation, so our people can be protected and not exploited.

Only if we can be in unity,I strongly believe in Yoruba nation.
I do not want my people to be a pawn used in the political games.
God help Yoruba Nation.🙏
