Everything About Piper Archer Aircraft

There’s a reason the Archer is one of the most popular training aircraft in the world: it’s a reliable, high-quality, and, most importantly, safe flight training aircraft. The Archer is a dependable, modern aircraft with 180 horsepower charging via its piston engine, a fixed-pitch propeller, and an excellent avionics package.

AeroGuard operates both G1000 Archers and’six-pack’ Archers. This provides our students and instructors with the opportunity to become acquainted with both types of equipment and navigation systems. This eventually culminates in a more well-rounded pilot with greater experience.

The PA-28

The Piper Archer is one of several aircraft in the Piper PA-28 Cherokee family. It earned its FAA type approval in 1960 and hasn’t ceased being produced since!

Over 30,000 PA-28s have been manufactured in the nearly six decades since they first rolled out of the factory, and with good cause. It was created to compete with the Cessna 172 at a lesser cost. Piper constructed a plane that would become the Swiss Army Knife of their fleet in their Cessna adversary.

It would serve as a framework for them to develop a wide range of models with slight modifications to meet the particular needs of their aircraft. There are now the Warrior, Arrow, and Archer TX and LX.

Piper Archer TX

The Cherokee fuselage is used in the Archer TX to create one of the best training aircraft available today.

We also use Archers with the’six-pack’ instrumentation to give our cadets hands-on flight time and experience with a wide range of instrumentation and skills.

Who is the Archer’s pilot?

Aside from AeroGuard, the Piper Archer and PA-28 families are employed by flying clubs and private owners all over the world. Some militaries, such as Argentina, Chile, Qatar, and Honduras, use the aircraft in their air forces for a variety of tasks.

The Piper Archer is one of the finest training or personal vessels on the market, and we are happy to have so many in our fleet for our cadets to learn in.
