Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship

Scholarship applications are now being accepted for the 2023–24 academic year for undergraduate study at Melbourne University from international students (those from countries other than Australia and New Zealand). Those who have already been admitted to the university will be considered for the scholarship on the basis of their academic record.

In any given school year, 50 scholarship grants will be distributed.

Gains from Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship

One of the following is an advantage of receiving an International Undergraduate Scholarship:

Discount on first-year undergraduate tuition of $10,000.
reimbursement of half of undergraduate tuition for the standard four years of study.
This scholarship will cover your complete undergraduate tuition for the standard four years of study.
Prerequisites for the Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship
The applicant cannot be an Australian or New Zealand permanent resident and must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand. Outstanding academic performance in the senior year is expected, as is an unconditional offer to study at Melbourne University.

Four A’s on General Certificate of Education Advanced Levels; Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of 99.9; overall grade point average (GPA) of 98 in an approved Foundation Program; International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 44; and no prior tertiary education (not counting extension courses taken as part of a year 12 program).
