Illinois Wesleyan University International Students Scholarships
Scholarships are available for international students studying at Illinois Wesleyan University. Undergraduate students at Illinois Wesleyan University pay a flat rate of Each year, Illinois Wesleyan awards a number of President’s Scholarships to overseas students who are enrolled in or planning to enroll in an undergraduate degree program. These awards are intended for deserving overseas students who have recently shown exceptional academic success, ability, and dedication. The institution awards two (2) four-year (all four years) full-tuition undergraduate scholarships annually.
Each of the two President’s Scholarships is good for up to four years of full tuition at Illinois Wesleyan University, depending on the recipient’s academic achievement. In addition to the President’s Scholarship, Illinois Wesleyan offers merit scholarships and need-based financial help to the incoming cohort of overseas students.
Scholarship applications often include a checkbox for candidates to check whether they want to be considered for a certain scholarship. Thus, these merit awards need no further action on the part of the applicant beyond that required for admission.
Financial Benefits from Scholarship at Illinois Wesleyan University
Applicants who successfully complete the admissions application are automatically considered for one of the following scholarships
President’s Scholarships:
- You will receive one of the two (2) full-tuition scholarships covering the tuition cost for your first year and renewable for up to four years of study.
Merit-Based Scholarships:
- You may also apply for a Merit-based scholarship offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams.
- Merit-based awards usually range from $16,000 to $30,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years.
