You will not be able to apply for grants and scholarships meant for students who are legal residents of the United States. The number of foreign scholarships to study in the United States, however, has increased as colleges in the United States place a greater emphasis on globalization. Foreign students may study in the United States with the help of government-funded scholarships
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is one of the most well-known and widely-received forms of US government funding for overseas students. The program provides grants to graduate students, young professionals, and artists so that they may spend a year or more studying in the US. Accepts students from throughout the world studying any subject except medicine.
The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program is a non-degree fellowship for qualified foreign professionals to study in the United States for ten months. Despite the lack of support for degree requirements, students are still able to attend schools around the country to further their education and professional development.
International students in the United States may apply for non-governmental scholarships.
International students from everywhere in the world are encouraged to apply for the YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship, which provides funding to international students attending one of a number of partner universities in the United States (of which there are 57). Send in an essay or video to show that you’re eager to promote cross-cultural understanding and communication. (Applications for the 2020 cycle will be available in May 2019, too late for entrance in the Fall of 2019).
Scholarships for master’s level study in the United States or another host country are available to citizens of qualified countries via the Civil Society Leadership Awards program.
Current or aspiring students in the United States who have been diagnosed with autism are eligible to apply for the $1,000 David P. Shapiro Autism Scholarship.
Three deserving students will each earn a $2,000 scholarship from Preply. Accessible to anybody between the ages of 16 and 35 who is a student (both at home and abroad, and at any level of education). You may enter by writing a 500-word essay on topics including online learning, language acquisition, and career advancement.
The Surfshark Privacy and Security Scholarship is offering a $2,000 award to a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student studying in an accredited educational institution in the United States or abroad. Anyone from any country may apply, but you will need to write an essay.
